- Gargle with lemon juice and a tablespoon of honey, five times a day. Wash your teeth when finished to avoid the corrosive effect that lemon has on the dentins.
- Make a plaster of boiling sage leaves (or as hot as possible). Apply to the throat and wrap with a handkerchief or cloth so that the heat is maintained. When it cools down, replace with another. In the meantime, gargle with warm sage infusion.
- Mix one tablespoon of honey, one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, and one cup of warm water. Drink small sips slowly without letting it cool.
- Make a thyme infusion. Add the juice of half a lemon and a large spoonful of honey and drink.
