Remedies For Eye Bags And Crow’s Feet
The eyes and the look are a very special part of our face, they say many things about the person and can improve our appearance if we take care of them naturally. Eyebrows and eyelashes can be easily cared for, but it is more difficult to remove bags under the eyes and crow’s feet.
In this article we explain some natural and home remedies to soften crow’s feet, these marks that darken and age the eyes, making your eye contour look perfect every day.
A delicate area
The face is a part of the body that must be taken care of especially, since it suffers more from the effects of time, the weather, etc. And of the face, one of the most delicate areas is the one that surrounds the eyes, since it is a very thin skin that tends to show a sleepless night, a poor diet, a tendency to retain liquids or the first wrinkles.
These brands age the face a lot and take away luminosity and youth from the look. Therefore, we must take special care of this area.
In general, we will always use specific cosmetic products for this area, if possible natural, made with organic ingredients and free of alcohol, paraffin and other petroleum derivatives, parabens, etc.
The relationship of crow’s feet and liver
It has always been believed that when we see the first lines that mark incipient crow’s feet appear, we should take our liver into account. However, there is no scientific evidence to support such a claim.
In any case, it is not a bad thing to take care of it, especially with one of these remedies:
- We will take a natural supplement based on milk thistle, a medicinal plant that helps regenerate the liver. People diagnosed with a serious liver problem should use caution.
- We will avoid harmful fats in our diet : fried, trans fats, dairy creams, red meat, etc.
- We will dress our meals with fresh lemon juice.
- In some cases, vision problems also condition the appearance of crow’s feet, by forcing the expression to try to focus the vision, so we will always seek to wear contact lenses or glasses with the appropriate prescription.
The relationship with the kidney
It has also been believed for years that bags under the eyes were symptoms that the kidney was not working well. In the same way as in the previous point, this statement has not been proven nor has the endorsement of any scientific institution.
If we still want to take care of our kidneys, we can follow these recommendations:
- We will take onion or garlic broths daily before meals.
- We will reduce the consumption of salt and we will try to replace it with sea water (sold in dietetics).
- We will avoid dining on flour and dairy.
- We will take infusions of burdock, dandelion and horsetail.
- We will drink two glasses of water on an empty stomach and a minimum of 2 liters at the end of the day.
- We will apply heat daily on the middle of the back.
Cucumber slices
The fresh cucumber slices have cooling and anti-inflammatory effects, so they are a quick remedy to place on our closed eyelids and firm the entire area. We will let them act for 5 minutes.
Green tea bags
Once we have taken an infusion of green tea, we will keep the sachets in the freezer and we will also use them as an eye mask to relax, reduce inflammation and rejuvenate the eyes. We will let them act until we notice that they are no longer cold.
Rosehip oil
This oil is ideal for mature and dry skin, and will help us prevent and combat all types of wrinkles, especially crow’s feet.
We will apply two drops on the wrinkles twice a day, morning and night, and we will massage carefully, making small circles or gently tapping with the fingers. It could also help us to hide blemishes on the skin and small scars.
Facial self-massage
Daily we can perform some simple massages that will improve the appearance of our eyes and help us relax the face and sight.
- To begin with, we will blink several times in a row and close our eyes tightly and then relax them.
- Starting at the inner root of the eyebrows, we will press making small, almost imperceptible circles, we will continue towards the outer part of the eyebrow, we will descend and follow the contour until we reach the beginning of the eyebrow again.
- When finished, we will rub our hands to warm them up and we will rest our closed eyes on the palm of our hands.
